Directions for Use
Shake bottle. Apply full strength. Squeeze a bead of MDR at the top of the area to be cleaned or apply MDR to an applicator pad. Scrub with a nonabrasive scrub pad, such as a white woven nylon pad, fine steel wool, or synthetic steel wool. Some users report success with hard felt pads. We recommend steel wool or synthetic steel wool.

On windows and mirrors, rub with an up-and-down motion instead of in a circular motion, as the glass usually has a vertical manufacturing orientation. For non-window materials - such as grout lines, concrete, fiberglass, decorative fountains, etc. - mechanical agitation helps the process. Use either a brass or nylon brush, a white or green scrub pad, steel wool, synthetic steel wool, etc.

For window restoration, you can use a low speed palm sander or reciprocating orbit sander. A rotating power buffer
requires practice or it will scatter the MDR. Mounting adhesives to attach the pads are available, such as 3M "Feathering Disc Adhesive", double-face tape or Velcro hook tape.

During use, apply more MDR as needed so it does not dry out. Rinse promptly with water. Glass and mirrors can be washed in the regular way. We recommend Glass Gleam-3'" Window Cleaning Concentrate in the wash water. Two wash buckets may be convenient. You can keep a "dirty" bucket for the first wash and a "clean" bucket for the final wash.
Because MDR is thick, it will cling to the sides of the container and may clog the dispensing cap on the pint bottle. The cap spout can be cleaned with a plastic straw or paper clip. When the bottle or jug is nearly empty, cut off the top to scrape out the remaining contents.

Please note: Not all glass or tile surfaces can be restored. If the surface is etched, pitted, scratched, sand blasted, has advanced screen bum, or otherwise permanently scarred, complete restoration may not be possible. Regular maintenance of the surface is recommended to prevent long term permanent damage.

Coverage
On glass, from 1,000 to 4,000 square feet per gallon, depending on job conditions and actual spotting coverage on each pane. You obtain better coverage with hand application using steel wool than with power equipment.

Material Cautions
Test first. Especially on plastics, plastic laminates, or marble, where the MDR is probably OK to use, but the scrubbing or buffing process might leave scratches. Not recommended for use on optical coatings, or lacquered brass. Protect vehicles and surrounding surfaces from splatter.

Safety Cautions

Formula contains natural food-grade acids, phosphoric acid and an engineered abrasive.
Will irritate eyes. If splashed in eyes, rinse with water for 10 minutes while alternately holding upper and lower eyelids open. Remove contact lenses if worn. See a physician. If swallowed, rinse mouth. Drink lots of water or milk, do not induce vomiting, see a physician. If MDR contacts skin, wash off promptly. Do not allow MDR to splash on lap or clothing; wear a waterproof apron or similar protection.
